We begin on Szeroka Street, where the Monument to the Victims of the Holocaust stands in solemn silence, honoring the thousands of lives lost—lives that were tragically cut short.
Next, we arrive at Ghetto Heroes Square, where scattered empty chairs form a powerful memorial. More than just an installation, they symbolize the individuals forced from their homes, each chair silently bearing witness to the past.
Then, we step into the Eagle Pharmacy, once a beacon of hope when hope was scarce. Tadeusz Pankiewicz, the only non-Jewish pharmacist in Kraków’s ghetto, risked everything to help those in need. Walking through its doors is not just visiting an exhibit—it is stepping into a story that deserves to be honored.
Our final stop is the fragments of the Ghetto Wall on Lwowska Street. Weathered and unyielding, they hold memories etched into their very surface. To touch them is to connect with the past, a past still woven into Kraków’s present.
